    Brush Fire Burns in Echo Park

    A small brush fire burned a hillside Thursday Sept. 22, 2016 in Echo Park. (Published Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016)

    A brush fire that sent smoke over a neighborhood northeast of downtown Los Angeles was knocked down after it burned about six acres. 

    The fire was reported along Elysian Park Drive in Echo Park, near Dodger Stadium.

    No structures were damaged. The fire was knocked down at about 1 p.m.
