Mother's Boyfriend Suspected in Abduction of Babies

Two Riverside babies are missing after the mother's boyfriend allegedly took them after an argument. Tony Shin reports for NBC4 News at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. (Published Wednesday, July 31, 2019)

CHP issued an Endangered Missing Advisory Wednesday morning for two young girls who were reported as missing since Tuesday night.

Officers have determined that the young girls, 1 year 8-month-old Darla Yonko and 8-month-old Emma Yonko were taken by the mother’s live-in boyfriend, 24-year-old Joshua Adle.

The suspect and the mother were believed to have been in an altercation when the mother put the two children to bed and left the home for a short while.

Upon returning, the children and her boyfriend were gone, along with the children’s documentation and records.

Officers believe Adle may be travelling to the state of Michigan with the children.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a blue, 4-door, 1982 Cadillac with a white top and missing license plate.

Adle was last seen wearing a dark blue sleeveless t-shirt and has a tribal tattoo on his left arm.

The young girls were last seen wearing footie pajamas. Darla Yonk was wearing a purple hooded zip-up pajama and Emma Yonko was wearing a white and yellow zip-up pyjamas.

If anyone has any information on Adle or the children they are asked to contact the Riverside Police Department's Public Safety Communications Center at (951) 354-2007 and reference report number 190021803.
