Calistoga Wines + Eats Rule Cool Foodie Fest

A weekend full of excellent regional wines and above/beyond cuisine? It's happening in May.

NOSHING AROUND NAPA VALLEY? You'll likely stick to a few tried-and-true favorites, the amazing places you visited years ago and think about often. You might add in a new dining destination, one recommended by a friend, to your itinerary, and you could do an impromptu stop-by, while road-tripping, if the look of a restaurant especially tempts. MAY 9, 10, AND 11... when the Calistoga Food and Wine Event returns to the pretty hot-springsy, haute-cuisine-ish region. This particular multi-day dine-around has been around for over a half decade now — those with a long and lovely memory for magnificent meals will recall that Solbar at Solage got this party started in 2013 — and it has become one of the go-tos for gourmet, springtime soirée-ing in and near Calistoga. As for the...

GRAND TASTING EXPERIENCE? That spreads out sumptuously, at Solage, on Saturday afternoon, May 11. "Tasting from local restaurants," and live music, and oodles of wines to try (over 40 area wineries'll cameo), are on the delish docket. Want to go? Tickets are a la carte for the 'toga-cool to-dos, and they're available now.
