An overturned cement truck is causing gridlock on the southbound 110 Freeway Friday, with traffic delays expected to linger into the afternoon and evening commute.
The cement truck overturned south of Carson Street on the freeway, blocking the No. 3 and 4 lanes in the city of Carson.
The California Highway Patrol said three lanes are expected to be closed for up to four hours while crews work to clear the scene. Lanes were expected to be closed until 4:30 p.m.
One person was taken to the hospital in the crash, CHP said.
