A child riding a bicycle was struck by a semi-truck and killed Saturday night at Tapo and Alamo streets in Simi Valley, a Ventura County fire official said.
The crash was reported about 7:45 p.m.
A truck at the scene of the crash bore a Fresh & Easy logo. NBC4 reached out to the company and has not received any comment.
Additional details were not released Saturday night.
