LA is the Burger Capital of the World

Consumer Reports asked their readers to name their favorite hamburgers and two Los Angeles area burger stands topped the list.

West Coast In-N-Out Burgers perennially tops best hamburger lists in Los Angeles year in, year out. Consumer Reports released information Friday to www.chicagobusiness.com that its readers voted In-N-Out Burger tied with Five Guys Burgers & Fries for top honors.

While In-N-Out Burger stands are all over Southern California upstart Five Guys Burgers & Fries has only two restaurants --Thousand Oaks and Carson.

But don't let that fool you Five Guys Burgers & Fries is a huge chain from back east and they are planning on opening more California burger joints in the near future.
