Coroner's officials Sunday released the name of an 18-year-old man who was shot dead at a party in West Covina, where two other people were also wounded.

The fatal shooting victim was identified as Dennis Bracamonte, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

A representative from the coroner's office could not be immediately reached to determine Bracamonte's place of residence.

Officers from the West Covina Police Department responded at 10:30 p.m. Friday to the 300 block of North Hollow Avenue, near Sunset Avenue, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which was assisting West Covina police with the investigation.

Police learned that a fight broke out at the party and located three shooting victims at the scene, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

Bracamonte was pronounced dead at the location. Two male teenagers suffered gunshot wounds to the legs. They were taken to an area hospital. A female teenager was self-admitted to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A detailed description of the shooter was not available.
