Heavy Anaheim Traffic Anticipated For Ducks, Angels Games

The Anaheim Police Department urges drivers to plan their commutes around the sporting events, which will start at nearly the same time

Drivers are being urged to expect heavy traffic near Angel Stadium and the Honda Center Monday night, as both the Angels and Ducks host big games.

The Ducks play the Los Angeles Kings in Game 2 of the Second Round of the Western Conference Playoffs at 7 p.m., while the Angels take on the New York Yankees at 7:05 p.m.

The Anaheim Police Department urges drivers to plan their commutes accordingly and for those attending the game to allow time for arrival and parking.

Saturday’s game between the Ducks and Kings at the Honda Center drew a sellout crowd of 17,393. All Angels home games against the Yankees last season drew over 40,000 fans.
