Eagle Rock Double Shooting Leaves Husband Dead, Wife Hurt

Two suspects are sought in connection to the shooting, police said

A man was killed and his wife was seriously hurt in a double shooting in Eagle Rock on Wednesday morning, police said.

Police said gunfire was reported in the 2900 block of Sagamore Way about 10:55 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found the man's body on the front porch of a home. His wife had been shot in the leg, police said. She was taken to the hospital.

Neighbor Kristin Lane said she heard the woman screaming.

"No specific words, she was screaming out of shock, and she was very scared for her life," Lane said.

Investigators determined that the incident began inside the home and ended up outside.

Two males are sought in connection to the shooting, police said.

The couple's 5-year-old son was taken away to be reunited with family, officials said.

Police said they planned on reviewing surveillance video taken from a camera in a neighboring residence.
