Early Voting Ends at 5 p.m. Monday

Voter registration in L.A. County is way up this year, thanks to online registration

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Monday is the last day for early voting in Los Angeles County.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that early voting ended Sunday at 4 p.m.

Those who wish to vote prior to Election Day on Tuesday can go to the county Registrar-Recorder's office in Norwalk to cast their ballots until 5 p.m.

Voter registration is up 25% in L.A. County this year, thanks to a first-time ever online registration process.

About a quarter of registered voters in the county have requested mail-in ballots, but it's too late to mail them in at this point.

Instead. voters who have mail-in ballots should drop them off at their local polling place or at the Registrar-Recorder's office before the polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, said Dean Logan, the county's Registrar-Recorder.

The Norwalk office is located at 12400 Imperial Highway.
