FBI Hunts For Bank Robbers Who Hit Beverly Hills and Los Angeles

The FBI and local law enforcement agencies are hunting for bank robbers who struck in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles on Friday.

The first incident happened in the morning at the Citibank located at 8485 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills.  

The thief passed a note demanding cash and claimed he had an explosive device.  He is a largely built male aged around 55,  and was described as being very pale, and was wearing a surgical mask on his face. The man is over 6 feet tall, and weighs approximately 230 lbs

He was also wearing a New England Patriots cap, carried a backpack, and was described as having a clear bandage on his arm, similar to one that used after having blood drawn.

The second robbery happened at the One West Bank at 12401 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles.  The robber brandished a handgun and pointed it at several victims during the theft.  He is described as a man  with pock-marked cheeks, is approximately 45 years old, more than 6 feet tall and between 180-190 lbs.
