Roof of Building Collapses in Exposition Park Firefight

No injuries were reported in the fire at a vacant building near LA Memorial Coliseum

Firefighters knocked down a fire that destroyed a vacant building early Monday next to the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The roof collapsed as fire ripped through the one-story building in the 3800 block of South Flower Drive in Exposition Park south of downtown Los Angeles. More than 80 firefighters put on the flames.

No injuries were reported. A cause was not immediately determined.
