    Firefighters Contain Small Brush Fire in Eagle Rock

    Firefighters contained a small brush fire in Eagle Rock as the Santa Ana winds kicked up again. Beverly White reports for the NBC4 News at 11 on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017. (Published Friday, Dec. 15, 2017)

    Firefighters contaned a two-acre brush fire Thursday near Occidental College in Eagle Rock.

    More than 90 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was reported at 10 p.m. at 1922 N. Campus Road. No injuries or strucutal damage have been reported.

    The flames were doused in less than 30 minutes. It broke out during a red flag warning amid high winds and low humidity. 

    The cause of the fire is under investigation.
