Four People Injured in Crash in Baldwin Hills

The crash happened on La Cienega Boulevard north of Rodeo Drive

Four people were injured when a car ran into a box truck in Baldwin Hills early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. on La Cienega Boulevard north of Rodeo Drive.

CHP officials said the box truck had broken down and was being pushed by passengers of the truck.

A Mercedes-Benz slammed into the truck from behind and left two of the people pushing the truck in critical condition, CHP officials said.

Another two people, including one person from the Mercedes-Benz, were transported to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries, CHP officials said.

It was not immediately known if speed or alcohol played a role in the wreck.

The crash is still under investigation.
