Money seekers made their way out to the San Fernando Valley Thursday as @HiddenCash stashed bills throughout Lake Balboa.
Clues started rolling in around 10 a.m. for @HiddenCash’s return.
“Money grows on trees in the valley,” he wrote. Attached was a photo showing bills ranging from $20 to $100 hanging from tree branches.
His second clue less than 10 minutes later prompted quick responses as followers named the drop location.
“Rocky would have liked this park. By the lake, in trees, under trees, near trees, holes. Side closer to foot bridge,” @HiddenCash tweeted.

One person said he found $360 as he scoured the 80-acre park area.
“I just kept walking and kept finding and finding,” the scavenger hunter said.
Jason Buzi, the San Francisco realty investor behind the Twitter account, tweeted that he would be in Southern California until Sunday, with a day and night “drop” scheduled for each day.
