A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault in Fullerton of a woman who was stabbed up to 10 times, police said Saturday.

Police responded at 10:30 p.m. Friday to the 2300 block of Iris Court and located the victim, who was rushed by paramedics to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Fullerton Police Sgt. D. Heying said.

The suspect was identified as Terele Jones, 23, of Anaheim. He arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide and burglary, Wright said.

The motive for the crime was unknown, she said, and due to the investigation being ongoing, the booking photo of Jones will be released at a later time.
