Holiday Pawty at Angel City Brewery

Lassies and Fidos are invited to this festive brew-ha-ha.

Relaxing with your favorite craft brew is nice, but having your dearest pup at your side while you savor each sudsy sip makes the moment that much more meaningful (and certainly relaxing, with a furry friend nearby to scratch).

But it is an experience ale aficionados can generally only enjoy at home, or at a friend's pad, for taverns and brewhouses aren't typically places for pooches to hang out.

There are exceptions to this rule, and they often spring up when the seasonal celebrations are in high gear, when the thought of leaving our hounds for festive but dog-free merrymakery is a glum one. The solution? Spots around town that invite Spot along for the good times.

Look to Angel City Brewery & Public House, which is hosting a Holiday Paw-ty on Sunday, Dec. 18. The "Paw-ty" should tell you all you want to know: Your tail-wagger is on the invite.

But the celebration isn't just about having your shaggy one nearby. A bevy of dogly vendors, including Healthy Spot, Sportsleash, Brew Bites Dog Treats, and a number of others, will be there for you to peruse, chat with, and buy from.

As for the craft beer part? That, too, will be ready for purchase and on the flow (Fido has his own nibbles; the beer is for you).

As for the snapshot to commemorate it all? There's a pet-ready photo booth.
