Three people sought in a home invasion robbery were involved in an overnight SWAT standoff early Monday at a Mid City home.
The standoff started at about 12:30 a.m. at 4900 block of Venice Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. City News Service reported that two men and a woman forced their way into the residence at gunpoint.
The residents of the home made it out safely.
