Man Pistol-Whipped During Hacienda Heights Home Invasion Robbery

A man was pistol-whipped and tied up during a home invasion robbery in Hacienda Heights early Saturday morning.

Deputies responded at 12:05 a.m. to a home in the 16500 block of Flower Glen Drive, where they located the victim, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

An unknown amount of property was taken from the home, the sheriff's department said.

Firefighters responded to the location, but there was no report of a victim being transported to a hospital, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

Investigators say the resident opened the door when he was confronted by two men, one armed with a handgun.

A description of the robber or robbers was not immediately available.
