Firefighters knocked down a fire early Friday at a two-story residence west of downtown Los Angeles.
Smoke and flames could be see from the nearby 10 Freeway as the house, possibly a duplex, burned in the 1800 block of West 20th Street in the Pico Union.
Details about how the fire started were not immediately available. No injuries were reported.
