Some people have some opinions some of the time about most things, it can be accurately said, but most beer drinkers have every opinion about IPAs all of the time.
For like cilantro and olives, the sorts of edible items that elicit lively debate and lifelong devotion, an IPA is a personality-filled beer with a lot of hopsy panache and deep, unmistakable flavor.
If your opinion is that IPA is the utmost, a true beer among beers, then you'll be among foam-loving friends on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3, if you visit Mohawk Bend.
For numerous purveyors of interesting IPAs will call upon the Echo Park eatery, all to spotlight the libation's panache, strengths, and inimitable complex character.
It's the 6th annual IPA Festival, a weekend-big bash that'll see "... over 60 California breweries competing and sampling a variety of unique IPAs, many of which were brewed exclusively for the festival."
Giving props to your favorite sip is possible, thanks to the People's Choice award, but there are other ways to enjoy the festival beyond straight-up sipping.

Which leads us to this: While showing up to taste doesn't require a reservation or advance ticket or even a cover, you may want to peruse the VIP packages to see if upgrading your experience will add to the IPA-esque aura of the hoppening.
We mean "happening," of course.
So, what's your opinion: Going or not? Every brew buff has a thought or 20 regarding IPAs. If your thought is that they're some of the best brews around, your ideal IPA-a-thon is coming up at Mohawk Bend.
