Infant Death has Detectives Working Late into the Night

The death of a 1-year-old girl near Azusa is being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The death occurred at about noon on Wednesday on the 18300 block of Armistead Street, between Citrus and Cerritos Avenue, in an unincorporated area bordering Azusa. 

Deputies were still at the scene late into the evening trying to determine how the infant died.
