Inland Empire Girl Fights Off Would-be Kidnapper

    Composite of suspect wanted in attempted kidnapping of a young teenage girl.

    Thanks to her ability to fight off her attacker, a young teenage girl is safe on Thursday night and Riverside Sheriff’s are looking for the man who tried to abduct her.

    The 12-year-old Rubidoux girl was approached by the man as she was walking to her middle school at about 8:45a.m.

    The man, described as a dark skinned, having a full beard and black hair drove up to her.  He got out of his truck and demanded that she go with him.  When she refused, the man grabbed her arm.

    She managed to free herself, ran to a local residence and called police.

    The suspect was wearing a blue button-up shirt, black jeans and a dark green or possibly black baseball cap.

    The suspect’s truck is described as being an older, white full-sized pickup.  The truck is banged up with several dents and scratches on the outside.  A gray metal toolbox is in the truck behind the cab.
