LA Pride Fest Street Closures

This weekend's event will close streets and buildings in the West Hollywood area

The annual LA Pride, celebrating the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer communities, takes place Thursday through Sunday, and will feature a variety of events around West Hollywood Park. The events will limit parking in the area, and will lead to some road and facility closures.

The event will be held at West Hollywood Park and officials have issued street closures for the event:

Festival hours:

  • Friday, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Saturday, 2 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Sunday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

A parade takes place Sunday between 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Santa Monica and Crescent Heights boulevards.

The following facilities will be closed:

  • West Hollywood Library: Closed from Friday, June 10 — Sunday, June 12
  • West Hollywood Park: Closed from 6 a.m. on Monday, June 6 through 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15
  • West Hollywood Pool: Closed from 6 a.m. on Monday, June 6 through Sunday, June 19
  • 5 Story Public/Park Parking Structure: Closed 6 a.m. on Friday, June 10 through 7 a.m. on Monday, June 13
  • El Tovar Parking Lot: Closed 6 p.m. on Monday, June 6 through 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15
  • Plinth Parking Garage: Closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 through 6 a.m. on Monday, June 13

Street Closures:

  • San Vicente Boulevard (between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard) will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 through 10 a.m. on Monday, June 13
  • Santa Monica Boulevard (between Fairfax Avenue and Doheny Drive) will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12
  • Crescent Heights Boulevard (between Romaine Street and Fountain Avenue) will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12
  • Norton Avenue (between Havenhurst and Laurel drives) will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12
  • Streets one block north and one block south of Santa Monica Boulevard (between Fairfax Avenue and North Doheny Drive) will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12

Free city shuttle services CitylineX and the PickUp are offering free shuttle service for PRIDE attendees.

The shuttle, or "Pride Ride," will run along Santa Monica Boulevard.
