LAX Terminal Reopens After Bomb Threat Investigation

Part of LAX was evacuated after the Thursday morning investigation in Terminal 7

Part of Los Angeles International Airport was evacuated Thursday morning for a bomb threat investigation.

Details regarding the threat were not immediately available, but airport officials confirmed that the terminal was reopened at about 9 a.m.

The report involving an item in a bag was received at about 7:30 a.m. Authorities determined the items in the bag were not dangerous.

United and United Express operate out of LAX Terminal 7, located near the airport exit.
