LAX FlyAway Service Expands to Hollywood and Santa Monica

One-way fares on both the Santa Monica and Hollywood bus routes will be $8.

Getting to LAX will soon become more convenient for some Southern California residents.

LAX officials plan to expand the FlyAway bus service and will add routes to and from both Santa Monica and Hollywood.

The FlyAway bus service in Santa Monica will pick up passengers on the east side of Main Street north of Pico Boulevard at the Santa Monica Civic Center. Officials plan to launch this service July 15.

TheFlyAway bus service in Hollywood will pick up passengers on the east side of Vine Street one-half block south of Hollywood Boulevard. This service will also make a stop at the La Brea Station of the Metro Expo Light Rail Line. Officials hope to begin the Hollywood service by mid-September.

The FlyAway buses pick up and drop off passengers at each terminal at LAX.

One-way fares on both the Santa Monica and Hollywood bus routes will be $8.

Four other FlyAway locations already provide bus route service for LAX travelers to and from Van Nuys, Union Station in downtown LA, Westwood and near the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. One-way fares for those routes range from $7 to $10. Children under 5 ride free with each fare paying adult. Bus schedules can be found on the Los Angeles World Airports website.
