Job seekers have until Thursday to submit applications to secure an interview at an invite-only job fair held by a major employer at Los Angeles International Airport.
The job fair runs July 20-27 and seeks to fill more than 280 food service job openings, some in the new Tom Bradley International Terminal.
Positions to be filled by HMS Host, an LAX restaurant operator, include fast-food attendant or cashier, barista, bartender, expeditor, cook, host or hostess, shift supervisor, utility or cleaner, runner and warehouse.
Applicants are asked to submit resumes to two websites: the airport's site http://www.lawa.org/bjrc, which begins the screening process, and HMS Host's site at http://www.hmshost.com.
