A police officer and Metro bus driver were injured when their vehicles crashed on the 710 Freeway Monday morning, officials said.
Fire officials did not release the drivers' conditions following the collision, which occurred at about 12:50 a.m. on the southbound 710 Freeway after Pacific Coast Highway.
There were no passengers on the bus or patrol car, whose collision shut all southbound lanes of the freeway at PCH for about two hours, according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicles crashed in the freeway's fast lane.
The drivers were taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Investigators released few other details about the crash.
