A retired postal worker was arrested Thursday by Orange County Sheriff's Department investigators on suspicion of committing lewd acts on three girls beginning in 2016.
Investigators believe others may have been victimized by the suspect, identified as 61-year-old Craig Allen Thomas of Lake Forest, according to sheriff's department spokeswoman Carrie Braun.
Thomas, who is also suspected of possessing child pornography, was being held on $1 million bail. He worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and has been retired for 10 years, Braun said.
"Thomas was known to the three victims, who were all under the age of 12 when the molestation occurred," Braun said. "Due to Thomas having continued access and contact with children over the past three years, investigators believe there may be additional victims."
