Lanes Reopened on 60 Freeway After Brush Fire Reported at Whittier Boulevard

Lanes were reopened on the 60 Freeway in Los Angeles following a brush fire on an embankment near the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A SigAlert was issued on both sides of the freeway at Whittier Boulevard around 10:40 a.m. after reports of a fire.

Two lanes were reopened to traffic around 11 a.m. The other lanes were reopened around 11:45 a.m., according to CHP.
