The Orange County average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago but 1 cent more than one month ago and 10.6 cents higher than one year ago.

As the average gas prices continue to climb some motorists have been searching to get more bang for their buck. Gordon Tokumatsu reports for the NBC4 News on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

The dropping prices are the result of ample supply and decreasing oil prices, according to Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
