SoCal businesses and organizations are pulling together to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
We will update this page as more are scheduled. Here are upcoming events that we know about so far:
- The NAFCON Social Vigil for Typhoon Victims will be held at 7:45 p.m. today in front of Grace United Methodist Church at 2325 East 3rd Street in Long Beach (map).
- A fundraiser for typhoon victims will be held at the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County on Friday at 5:30 p.m. It will be at Posch Restaurant and Lounge at 18912 MacArthur Boulevard in Irvine (map).
- The city of Carson will hold drive-through donation drop-off events at City Hall, 701 East Carson Street (map), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and again on Nov. 23 and 24. Members of the public can drop off cash, clothes and ready-to-eat meals.
