Police in Long Beach Sunday announced the arrest of a fourth person in connection with the shooting death of a 21-year-old woman in June 2018.

Homicide detectives on Saturday arrested Nyla Hall, 21, of Los Angeles in connection with the shooting death of Imani Keith, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

Hall was arrested on suspicion on being an accessory after the fact and residential burglary. She was being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

"Detectives believe she had knowledge of the murder and assisted Rodney Scott with the intent he might avoid prosecution," according to a news statement. "Through their investigation detectives also discovered Hall was part of the 2018 residential burglary in Los Angeles."

Authorities on Thursday arranged for the custody transport of Scott, a resident of Los Angeles, from the California Correctional Center in Susanville to the Long Beach Jail behind the belief that Scott is responsible for the June 28 shooting death of Keith, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

They also believe Scott is responsible for a 2018 residential burglary in Los Angeles and is guilty of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Scott was being held in lieu of $2 million bail, police said.

On Friday, police arrested Richard Scott, 21, of Los Angeles, who was booked on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact and was being held on $1 million bail. Police did not disclose if Rodney Scott was related to Richard Scott.

Christina Collier of Los Angeles, 23 was also arrested on suspicion of the same charge and was also being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

Dana Moore of Los Angeles, 49, was arrested on suspicion of the same charge and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm. She was also being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

David Thomas of Los Angeles, 24, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. Detectives believe Thomas was also responsible for the same 2018 residential burglary in Los Angeles that Rodney Scott was allegedly a part of.

Detectives believe Richard Scott, Moore, Collier -- and now Hall -- had knowledge of the murder and assisted Rodney Scott with the intent he might avoid prosecution.

"Search warrants were served in several residences in City of Los Angeles, where five firearms were recovered, along with additional evidence,'' police said. "Detectives believe Rodney Scott, David Thomas, and victim Keith were known to each other, and the shooting was the result of a dispute between them."

On June 28, at about 12:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Via Wanda regarding a shooting. When officers arrived they found Keith with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. She later died from her gunshot wound about 3 p.m. at an area hospital.

Long Beach police detectives asked anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at (562) 570-7244.
