Man Tied Up, Held at Gunpoint in La Crescenta Home Invasion

A man awoke Wednesday night to two men tying him up and ransacking his La Crescenta home while holding him at gunpoint.

Deputies responded to a report of a trespasser at a home in the 2900 block of Los Olivos Lane around 10:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

When authorities arrived they found the victim, who had made his way to a neighbor’s house to call 911. He was still bound when deputies contacted him.

The man told deputies that he had gone to sleep for the night but was awoken when two robbers tied him up. The unknown men took turns holding him at gunpoint while they stole cash, jewelry and electronics.

The man was not injured during the home invasion.
