The man killed on Friday in a car-to-car shooting on the 91 Freeway was identified as Samuel Ferguson, 27, of Cerritos, by his family.
Ferguson was shot at approximately 4:30 p.m. and was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was subsequently pronounced dead according to the California Highway Patrol.
Investigators said a witness called 911 to report that she saw and heard gunfire coming from a green Acura shooting at a white Nissan Sentra.
No arrests have been made in connection with shooting. Anyone who witnessed the shooting was asked to call CHP investigators at 323-644-9550.
