A 23-year-old man convicted of pimping the mother of his child while he stayed in the car with their newborn baby was sentenced to three years in state prison, prosecutors said.
Marius Eugene Prince, 23, pleaded guilty to one felony count of pimping and one felony count of pandering, the Orange County District Attorney's Office said last week.
In September 2015, Prince had arranged a meeting between the woman and an undercover officer posing as a customer. Prosecutors say Prince drove her to a Huntington Beach hotel, where he planned on staying inside the car with their baby while the woman had sex with the customer.
Prince was arrested by the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force when he arrived at the hotel.
Prosecutors said Prince had previously posted sexually explicit photos of her on websites known for prostitution and had pimped her even after she had a cesarean section several weeks before to give birth to their baby.
