Maserati Gran Turismo Stolen Off Car Lot

Deputies seek a man who drove off on Wednesday about 2 p.m. in a $75,000 blue 2008 Maserati Gran Turismo

Sheriff’s officials sought the public’s help on Friday to identify a man who stole a Maserati Gran Turismo off a car lot in downtown Los Angeles and drove off in a case that was captured on a surveillance camera.

Deputies were looking for a male with a shaved head who drove off on Wednesday about 2 p.m. in a $75,000 blue 2008 Maserati Gran Turismo.

The man was posing as a customer while at the dealership called Motor Village LA at 2025 S. Figueroa St.

The man asked for the ignition key to listen to the engine, sat in the driver's seat and, while the salesman was holding onto the opened car door, put the car in drive and drove off, heading north on Figueroa, deputies said.

Anyone with information about the car or the suspect was asked to call (800) 299-TRAP.
