A missing 8-year-old South Los Angeles boy was found Wednesday morning and reunited with his family after police asked for the public's help in finding him.
The boy disappeared after leaving his family's home Tuesday night in the 1200 block of East 43rd Street, according to police. Early Wednesday, police and the family issued a plea for help in the search.
The LAPD issued a statement later Wednesday, indicating that the boy had been found.
