Meet Moonbeam, the Rare Albino Kitten Who Needs a Home

A rare albino kitten is waiting in Long Beach for a loving home.

Moonbeam came to the spcaLA PD Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center in Long Beach this summer. He was born with a lack of pigmentation, giving him pale pink skin under a fluffy coat of white fur.

Albino kittens make up about 2 percent of the feline population.

"Little Moonbeam reminds people that there are many, many cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and if you can't adopt, please donate to their care," said Madeline Bernstein, spcaLA president.

Moonbeam's sibling also is up for adoption, along with many other animals cared for by spcaLA. Click here to find a new best friend.
