A motorcyclist was killed Saturday on the 57 Freeway in Brea, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 5:42 p.m. on the northbound Orange Freeway at the eastbound Imperial (90) Highway on ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was first reported as a collision between a motorcycle and vehicle but the CHP later was unsure if the motorcycle and vehicle crashed or the motorcycle just went down in lanes.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:54 p.m. for all northbound lanes just south of Imperial Highway, with traffic taken off at Yorba Linda Boulevard.
The HOV lane reopened at about 5:30 p.m.
All lanes were reopened at 7:55 p.m., the CHP said.
