New Food Truck Fest Debuting at the Rose Bowl

"Final Fridays" will pop up every final Friday of the month, from March to August 2019.

What to Know

  • Rose Bowl stadium greens and surrounding area
  • Every final Friday of the month, March through August 2019
  • Free admission and parking

Reaching a Friday can have an "ahhh" moment folded right inside. You've done it, you've said goodbye to a veritable string of busy weekdays, and now, oh yeah, you're fully Friday-fied.

Is there a similar feeling when you reach the end of a month, too? A satisfaction, knowing that all of your must-dos were mostly done over the last four or so weeks?

Smoosh those two concepts together, add in some savory nosh time, moon bounces, alfresco activities, and an iconic location, and you have the new-new-new Final Fridays Food Truck Festival at Rose Bowl Stadium.

Make that outside the Rose Bowl, rather. The series, which will include six final Friday events, will take place around "the shaded oaks and immaculate grounds" of the stadium, which means there'll be plenty of roominess for games, the aforementioned moon bounces, foot golf, and places to snap a memorable pic.

Oh yes, and the food trucks, too. The first Final Friday, on March 29, will feature Tokyo Doggie Style, Deli Doctor, and a few goodie-packed trucks, so expect an array of eats-filled spots to dine at, each Friday night.

The final Final Friday of 2019? It'll be in August, on the 30th.

Each event begins at 4 o'clock, and wraps at 8, which means it'll still be light-ish, come summertime, as you wind down this Rose Bowl-adjacent affair.

Admission? Oh yeah, we're getting that #fridayfeeling: It's free to enter, as is parking.

Oh yes, and this is way-nifty, as way-nifty things go: There'll be stadium tours, too, if you want to jump on one of those while Fridaying-it-up at the fest.

Visitors are also encouraged to show with a blanket and a ball, by the way, or a board game, or a book, or whatever will help you wile away four fine hours on a warm Friday afternoon/evening, at one of Pasadena's most picturesque spots.
