At least five people were injured in a confrontation early Friday outside a downtown Los Angeles nightclub.
The attack occurred at about 2 a.m. outside the Belasco Theater at 1050 S. Hill St. None of the injuries, suffered when a man with at least one knife attacked people outside the venue, are considered life-threatening.
The victims were stabbed or slashed, according to police. The knife-wielding man and another individual were arrested, police said.
The attacker -- identified as a male in his 20s -- will be booked on suspicion of attempted murder, according to police. He was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit, police said.
The second person arrested -- identified as the attacker's cousin -- kicked one of the stabbing victims, police said.
