No-Burn Alert in Effect for L.A. and O.C.

The AQMD issued the alert due to unhealthy air quality in Wednesday's forecast.

There is a ‘no-burn’ alert in effect for parts of LA and Orange Counties.

That means you can’t use your fireplace or outdoor fire pits until after midnight. That includes artificial logs.

This is because unhealthy air quality is forecast by the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

The areas include the coast from Marina Del Rey down to Laguna Niguel and as far east as the Anaheim Hills.
