    A non-profit organization is hosting a diaper drive Friday at Angel Stadium.

    HomeAid Orange County is hoping to collect 1.5 million diapers for women's shelters in Orange County and the Inland Empire. The Angel Stadium event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

    The fifth annual “Builders for Babies” competition is a month-long countywide campaign to collect essential baby needs such as diapers, baby food, wipes and other toiletry items for families with young children who are homeless.

    Teams of homebuilders will compete to build the best homes and structures made entirely of diapers. Participating homebuilders this year include Brookfield Residential, Lennar, Meritage Homes, National Core, The New Home Company, William Lyon Homes, DuPont Tyvek & Energy Inspectors, Greater Sales & Marketing Council/BIA NextGen, Orange County Sherriff’s Department and HomeAid Inland Empire.
