OC Teacher Arrested on Suspicion of Child Molestation

An Orange County teacher was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of child molestation, according to authorities.

Brandon Jacob Nease, 25, of Orange, was arrested on suspicion of felony child molestation, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Nease has been a drama teacher at Costa Mesa High School for the past year and a half, according to the OCSD. Police said Nease has previously worked closely with children in a variety of roles: teaching dance at the Boys and Girls Club in Tustin and Fountain Valley beginning in 2013; Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Musical Theatre West in Long Beach from 2015 to 2017; dance specialist at Camp James in Newport Beach from 2012 to 2015; and Choreographer/Director for the Musical Theater Village in Irvine from 2008 to 2016.

Given Nease's lengthy history working with children, OCSD investigators believe there may be additional victims that have not yet come forward.

Please contact the Special Victims Detail at (714) 647-7419 if you have any information. Anonymous information may be provided through Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
