The driver of the double-trailer truck crashed into the car and overturned near Orange Grove Avenue. The trailer was carrying rocks and gravel, which spilled onto the freeway.

The driver of the trailer was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the black vehicle was not injured, but was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

A Sig-Alert was issued immediately following the crash. It was cleared just before 6 a.m.
