A Panga boat that washed ashore Monday on the Orange County coast is believed to be part of a human smuggling operation, according to the Laguna Beach Police Department.
The outboard-powered fishing boat was found on the beach Monday morning in the Crystal Cove area. Officers searched for people who left the area after arriving aboard the boat.
No arrests were reported early Monday.
