Caught on Camera: Robber Wears White Paper Mask in Highland Park, Eagle Rock Heists

The man, wearing a mask with holes for the eyes, nose and mouth, is wanted in a series of robberies since early November

Los Angeles police are searching for an armed robber suspected of holding up at least six businesses while wearing a white paper mask.

Investigators say the half-dozen crimes have occurred since Nov. 7 at restaurants and other businesses in the Highland Park and Eagle Rock neighborhoods.

In each robbery, the man has entered the business wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and a white paper mask with holes for the eyes, nose and mouth -- similar to masks used in cosmetic facials. He also wore white tennis shoes, possibly Nike Air Max, with blue laces.

The man flashed a small revolver and demanded money before fleeing in a silver Nissan Sentra or similar vehicle.

Anyone with information that could help investigators identify the robber was urged to call 323-561-3472.
