Three people were wounded in a shooting at park in South Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The victims were shot just about 9:40 p.m. at Vermont Square park at Budlong Avenue and 47th Street in the Vermont Square neighborhood, a desk officer at the LAPD's 77th Street Station said.
There was no immediate word on the victims' conditions, he said.
The LAPD's South Bureau was put on tactical alert after the shooting, which followed a number of other shootings, at least one of them fatal, in the 77th Street Station's patrol area on Saturday.
