A search for a possible car thief at a Culver City mall was called off Thursday afternoon.
Police asked the public to stay away from the mall during the search.
Traffic was affected near Westfield Culver City in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, according to an advisory from the Culver City Police Department.
The search ended about 2:30 p.m.
